2014 Kia Forte - explained

The Kia Forte is all new for 2014 and is ready to turn heads everywhere.  Much like the previous Optima, the new and improved 2014 Kia Forte is constructed with the signature tiger nose grille, curvy exterior body, sweeping headlights and taillights, and a sharply raked windshield.

The Forte has been fine tuned to go from 0 to 60 in 7.8 seconds and guns through the quarter mile in 16 seconds.  The engine has been reworked with a direct-injection via a six speed automatic transmission, blowing the previous Forte model out of the water in terms of speed.

In the figure eight-test, the new Forte used its increased torsional rigidity to produce an improved time of 27.6 seconds over the older models 28.9 seconds.  Although it’s not classified as a sports car, the Forte takes on squiggly canyon roads with delight, as it eagerly takes on corners without much body roll.

The cabin of the car is amazingly quiet, unlike other vehicles in the compact segment, with hardly any vibrations felt through the steering wheel, floor panels, or pedals.  This is made possible with an aluminum bed plate located under the engine block while other NVH materials inside the doors reduce wind noise.

The 2014 Kia Forte is truly a sight to behold.
